Playoffs return to Kansas City at the new Arrowhead Stadium. This is how it started!

Tickets for the AFC Wild Card Playoff game at the New Arrowhead will go on sale to the general public on Monday, December 27 at 5:00 p.m. Tickets may be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com, by phone at (800)745-3000, in person at any Ticketmaster outlet or at the Arrowhead Stadium Ticket Office located between Founder’s Plaza and the Hy-Vee Gate on the northwest side of the stadium. The New Arrowhead Stadium Ticket Office will be open until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 27.

AFC WILD CARD PLAYOFF TICKET PRESALE FOR JACKSON COUNTY

TAXPAYERS AND GENERAL ONSALE DATES ANNOUNCED

The Kansas City Chiefs will offer a presale to Jackson County Taxpayers for tickets to the AFC Wild Card Playoff game to be held at the New Arrowhead. The NFL will announce the date and time for the game, which will either be Saturday, January 8 or Sunday, January 9. The presale will begin Monday, December 27 at 10:00 a.m. The general public onsale will begin Monday, December 27 at 5:00 p.m.

PRESALE FOR JACKSON COUNTY TAXPAYERS

The presale for Jackson County, Missouri taxpayers will be offered on Monday, December 27. Tickets may be purchased in person at the New Arrowhead Stadium Ticket Office located between Founder’s Plaza and the Hy-Vee Gate on the northwest side of the stadium from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. No phone orders will be accepted for this special presale event.

Jackson County taxpayers purchasing tickets must have proof of property ownership to purchase tickets during the presale. Proof of property ownership includes a current valid government issued photo identification and a personal or business current Jackson County, Missouri personal or real property tax receipt. For businesses, a current copy of the employee identification for the person making the purchase must be included.

For the Jackson County taxpayer presale, a “Random Number Distribution” system will be used for this presale. The Random Number Distribution provides each customer an equal chance to be first in line without the need for camping out or spending long hours in line during bad weather. Numbers will be distributed one hour before tickets go on sale. The complete Random Number Distribution policy is posted at www.kcchiefs.com.

It's so good to be able to go to Arrowhead and see a playoff game. Hopefully the Chiefs will continue to do great in the years to come so we can continue to cheer them on at home in the playoffs. I think next year, we really have a chance.
