About Us
For almost a decade now the Chiefs Coalition has worked with players from the Kansas City Chiefs to help support their local charities. From future Hall of Famers like Tony Gonzalez and Will Shields to little known role players like Boomer Grigsby, the Chiefs Coalition helped raise tens of thousands of dollars for their charitable endeavors. The Chiefs Coalition donated 500 backpacks to the Tony Gonzalez youth football camps for 3 years and last year we were able to donate $5000 to the First Downs for Down Syndrome organization. From silent auctions and banquets held at the Arrowhead Pavilion to rented tailgate tents at Arrowhead on game day the members of the Chiefs Coalition have come together to help support the players from their favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs Coalition was originally founded to keep in touch with a friend who was being deployed overseas in the US Military. Wanting to stay in touch with a friend serving his country blossomed into a tight-knit community of friends helping to support Chiefs players charities. The Chiefs Coalition has approximately 13,000 members that use our website www.chiefscoalition.com to obtain information, insight and discuss everything Chiefs football.
Players the Chiefs Coalition have worked with include; Brian Waters, Will Shields, Tony Gonzalez, Derrick Johnson, Eddie Kennison, Jared Allen, Priest Homes and Boomer Grigsby. We are hoping to bridge new relationships with new players in hopes we can continue to help players in their efforts to better the Kansas City community.
In the past we have been provide special access to the team during training camp and special events such as the draft and draft party with press credentials and pre game sideline passes. This special access has allowed us to cover the team through our website and provide our members with information they can't get elsewhere. This process helps the Coalition grow it's membership and in the end helps us raise more for the players charities and foundation.
The Chiefs Coalition has grown and continues to grow each year and we hope we can continue support our players off the field as well as on the field on Sundays.
